The Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation holds our donors in high regard and will publish timely, meaningful and reliable disclosures about our organization’s financial position.
CSF works extremely hard to always remain transparent and absolutely responsible with every single cent of your donation. Every gift we receive is directed specifically to the area of interest of the donor. We ensure that a majority of the donations we receive go directly to programmatic funding. We have put more than $6 million dollars of your donations directly to education and research over the past decade.
Bobby Jones CSF’s IRS Determination Letter: This is a signed and official letter from the United States’ IRS claiming that CSF is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is permitted to raise money for a cure!
Exempt Organizations Select Check: This is an online IRS search tool that allows users to select an exempt organization and check certain information about its federal tax status and filing.
The IRS 990 filing is a document that every single nonprofit organization is required to file every year, or else they risk being shut down. CSF makes sure to file all our IRS filings on time, or early if possible. A good and fully transparent organization will make these documents available to all donors, past, present and future, because it will show how the organization spends its money on programs, administration and fundraising activities.
Below, you will find all of CSF’s IRS 990 filings, going back to CSF’s inception in 2007!
