Matthew Roberts is a 4th year medical student & aspiring neurologist at the Medical University of South Carolina. After being diagnosed with type III Ehlers-Danlos in his first year of medical school, Matthew founded the Alliance for Disability Advocacy, working closely with the administration to reduce barriers & improve accessibility for other students living with disabilities at MUSC. Through the group, Matthew has organized campus discussions on disability and led workshops on self-advocacy and applying for accommodations.
