Dr. Batzdorf has been associated with UCLA for over 35 years and is Professor and Director of Spinal Neurosurgery and Director of the Spine Center. Specializing in spinal neurosurgery, Dr. Batzdorf’s primary focus is in the treatment of syringomyelia, and spinal cord tumors.
He has published numerous articles about surgical techniques for SM/CM and is considered a leader in research regarding spinal syringomyelia.
