Brazilian Consensus for Chiari I: Results
2019 CSF Research Colloquium
JW MARRIOTT - SAN FRANCISCO, CA - OCTOBER 19, 2019
Dr. Alexandre Casagrande Canheu is an international fellow of the
American Association of Neurological Surgeons and was integral in spearheading a
consensus effort on
Chiari malformation in Brazil.
Dr. Canheu describes the Brazilian groups' work to better understand how patients can best be diagnosed and treated. He also shares the results of the Brazilian consensus efforts and where they will go from here.
This presentation is extremely important because it describes one of the many efforts to come to consensus on Chiari malformation around the world. Bobby Jones CSF hopes to share the results of these many efforts and to come to one large, international consensus.
This presentation was made as part of the 2019 Research Colloquium. This meeting was meant to disseminate new research in Chiari, syringomyelia and related disorders and was hosted by the Bobby Jones CSF on October 19th in San Francisco, California. (2019)
