Ask the Expert: FOR KIDS: All About Chiari Malformation & Syringomyelia
VIRTUAL MEETING - DECEMBER 10, 2020
Chiari and syringomyelia are disorders that often happen in kids. They are very complicated problems with the brain and spine, but kids should be able to understand, too! Watch Dr. Krystal Tomei explain what Chiari and syringomyelia are and how doctors can help you feel better. Can kids with Chiari or syringomyelia play games with their friends? Does surgery hurt? Dr. Tomei also answers these questions and others sent in by kids with these disorders. This presentation was made during the Bobby Jones CSF Ask the Expert session on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
Note from Bobby Jones CSF: We want to take a moment to sincerely thank all those who donated in support of this virtual presentation. No one at the organization was expecting that much generosity during such a difficult time for us all. From the bottom of the hearts of our boards, staff and volunteers, we want to thank you for your donations. Your kindness continues to motivate us and makes us all the more certain that this work is valuable and helping the people who need it. Thank you.
