Hope on the Horizon for Pakistan

Bobby Jones CSF and Kazim Trust Advance Knowledge and Treatment of Complex Disorders in Pakistan

The Bobby Jones Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation (Bobby Jones CSF) has reached a global audience, as our website and YouTube Channel are regularly accessed in 193 countries. We clearly identified a need to focus our programs and expand our global reach. To that end, we would like to offer these international individuals, who seek our assistance and information, something other than our online educational lectures provided in American English. A unique opportunity was then presented to us…

At a very young age, the founder of Kazim Trust, Kazim Anwar, was instilled with the spirit of philanthropy by his paternal grandmother, the matriarch of the family, Mrs. Sherbanoo Haji Mian. Kazim Trust was established in 2008 in the city of Karachi, Pakistan as a non-profit organization that aims to spread awareness and create treatment programs for Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Learning Difficulties (LD) and Autism (ASD) in children and adults. Kazim Trust has so far helped and impacted more than 5000 lives since 2008 through its services and training programs.

Discovering a lack of knowledge and information surrounding syringomyelia and Chiari malformation in his home country of Pakistan, Mr. Anwar approached the Foundation. In 2021, Bobby Jones CSF joined hands with Kazim Trust to further our mission of educating the medical, allied sciences and lay community about Chiari malformation, syringomyelia and related disorders.

September 2021 marked the official start of Bobby Jones CSF’s partnership with Kazim Trust to distribute information and advocate for individuals living with these brain and spinal cord disorders in Pakistan— something that has never been done before. With our patient and medical resource library and Kazim Trust supporting and distributing this information to Pakistan in the national language of Urdu, we will be able to provide important information, regarding treatment options and medical advances around these complicated disorders, to physicians and patients on the other side of the globe.

We are so grateful for this support and partnership. The Bobby Jones CSF staff is excited to work with the Kazim Trust team to begin sharing information and providing Pakistani patients and families with an answer to their symptoms and the hope that their pain will soon be a thing of the past.

Hope is on the horizon!
