About the Workshop: Learn how to communicate more effectively with your child’s school and how to work collaboratively to solve problems. Understand your rights, and their responsibilities. Hear about the research happening in St. Louis and around the country that will improve the lives of those with Chiari malformations.
Who should attend:
Nichole Brinkmann is the Regional Coordinator for Missouri Parents ACT. She provides one-to-one assistance to families, and conducts trainings in the community. Nichole is also a parent of a child with a disability and a former special education teacher. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration.
A former Assistant Attorney General for the state of Missouri, Sherry Snyder has had significant experience with state administrative and regulatory compliance. She regularly counsels individuals on disability and special needs planning. Sherry has been practicing law in Missouri for over 23 years. She received her J.D. from Washington University in 1993.
