James Glenn, MD

Dr. James Glenn is board certified in internal medicine and in cardiology. He completed his medicine training at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and then served as chief medical resident at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri. His cardiology training was begun at the University of Missouri and following a period of service in the U.S. Army at Raymond Bliss Army Hospital at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, the cardiology training was completed at MUSC.

Dr. Glenn was in the private practice of medicine and cardiology in the Charleston community for a number of years, returning to join the cardiology faculty in 2001.

He remains active as a general cardiologist in both the outpatient and the inpatient setting. He has particular clinical and investigational interest in patients with cardiovascular illness and multi-system disease to include those with refractory angina pectoris and autonomic dysfunction.
