Greg Olavarria, MD graduated from UCLA School of Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency and served as Chief Resident in the Department of Neurosurgery at Emory University Medical Center from 1995 to 2002. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at Northwestern Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL, from 2002 to 2003.
Dr. Olavarria then joined the University of Miami and Miami Children’s Hospital as an Assistant Faculty member, specializing in pediatric neurosurgery from 2003 to 2006. He practiced childhood neurosurgery at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children from 2006 to 2023. Currently, Dr. Olavarria is a neurosurgeon at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida, where he has been serving since 2023. He is also an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
