Expert Speaker: Dr. Scott Haines, Associate Professor, Department of Neurology
Topic: Papilledema
Dr. Haines graduated from medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, did neurology residency at Wake Forest, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Since completing fellowship, Dr. Haines has been on faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Ophthalmology. Dr. Haines has been the recipient of numerous clinical and teaching awards. He is a fellow of the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society and currently serves on the patient education committee in that organization. His clinical interests span the breadth of neuro-ophthalmologic disease.
