Taylor Goectau

Taylor Goectau

Tayler Goectau earned her Bachelor’s degree in ASL Studies with minors in Chemistry and Biology from Western Oregon University. Her personal experience living with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome ignited her interest in intersectional disability advocacy, research, and clinical care. She divides her skills among many avenues including sharing her personal experiences and evidence-based content online, working with the Deaf community, and community engagement for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Originally from Idaho, Tayler is passionate about advancing clinical care and research  for complex patients like herself. At the Norris Lab, Tayler utilizes her passion for positive change through contributions to studies on EDS and related comorbidities.
