4th International CSF Hydrodynamics Symposium

GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY - ATLANTA, GA - JUNE 19-20, 2017
Dr. Geert W. Schmid-Schöenbein (University of California San Diego, California, USA) gives a fascinating presentation on the investigation into the ways in which the gut and digestion may play a critical role in pathophysiology of disease. Dr. Schmid-Schöenbein was one of two esteemed plenary speakers at the 2017 Hydrodynamics Symposium. This presentation was given at the 4th International CSF Hydrodynamics Symposium, which was held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. (2017)

This presentation was given at the 4th International CSF Hydrodynamics Symposium, which was held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. This biennial conference brings together scientists, engineers, clinicians and mathematicians from around the world to discuss the underlying mechanisms that cause disorders of CSF flow, like syringomyelia and Chiari malformation.

Participants discuss their own research and bounce ideas off one another to better comprehend these poorly understood mechanisms. Thanks to Dr. John Oshinski and Dr. M. Keith Sharp for organizing this year's scientific program.

CSF is proud to once again support this incredible meeting of the minds. This support is made possible by a generous grant from the Monkton Institute, Inc.
