Differentiating Between Barrier Dysfunction & Drainage Reduction in CSF Protein Analysis

Video Poster

4th International CSF Hydrodynamics Symposium

GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY - ATLANTA, GA - JUNE 19-20, 2017
Dr. Vartan Kurtcuoglu (ETH Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland) discusses his work and discoveries in the mechanisms behind drainage and transport of proteins in cerebrospinal fluid. This presentation was given at the 4th International CSF Hydrodynamics Symposium, which was held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. (2017)

This presentation was given at the 4th International CSF Hydrodynamics Symposium, which was held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. This biennial conference brings together scientists, engineers, clinicians and mathematicians from around the world to discuss the underlying mechanisms that cause disorders of CSF flow, like syringomyelia and Chiari malformation.

Participants discuss their own research and bounce ideas off one another to better comprehend these poorly understood mechanisms. Thanks to Dr. John Oshinski and Dr. M. Keith Sharp for organizing this year's scientific program.

CSF is proud to once again support this incredible meeting of the minds. This support is made possible by a generous grant from the Monkton Institute, Inc.
