Dr. Aubrey Verdun discusses the results of this randomized control trial (RCT) that tested certain medications to combat pain in patient who underwent total hip arthroplasty.

This research study was not directly related to Chiari, syringomyelia, EDS or other disorders that cause chronic pain-- but the findings can have important implications for how pain is managed in patients with these and other chronic conditions going forward.
