London Roundtable: The epidemiology of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome
Consider Chiari
ROYAL SOCIETY OF MEDICINE - LONDON, UK - SEPTEMBER 13, 2019
World-renowned rheumatologist, Prof. Rodney Grahame, talks about the epidemiology of
Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. The number of people who currently have EDS (or, the "prevalence") has been steadily increasing since its earliest descriptions over 50 years ago.
Prof. Grahame also discusses what exactly we need to study going forward to better determine how to best identify, diagnose and treat patients who are experiencing symptoms from EDS and related disorders.
This lecture was presented at the 2019 London Roundtable, provided in partnership with the
Ehlers-Danlos Society, discussing issues including dysautonomia, connective tissue disorders, Chiari malformation and related syndromes. (2019)
