Dr. Mark Luciano is a CSF SEA Board member (Board Chair: 2017-2019) and neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins University. Watch Dr. Luciano talk about how surgeons can carefully keep track of patients with CSF disorders, particularly idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), using something called ICP monitoring. He also describes what a lumbar puncture is, and why doctors may or may not want to use it to help assess their patients in the clinic.
