Multi-Modal Neuroimaging for Chiari 1

Dr. Kristen Yeom, neuroradiologist, studies many different types of conditions in the neurosurgical field and has a specific interest in Chiari 1 malformation as one of her current interests lies in studying brain fluid dynamics.

Dr. Yeom begins by walking through the different types of imaging with which she, and radiologists in general, use. Yeom includes a basic explanation of what radiologists look at to diagnose Chiari 1 and even when they may suspect a Chiari may be present based on other imaging findings.

Dr. Yeom also shares some other imaging tools like contrast imaging, which they use to study csf flow, and discuss things like symptoms that may be associated with csf flow restriction, and others!
