JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY - BALTIMORE, MD
OCTOBER 25, 2017
Dr. Jeffrey Brinker provides a comparison of various conditions that can cause fainting, including postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), neurally mediated hypotension and vasovagal syncope. He gives a great review of what the tilt table test can show and how it is used by doctors to diagnose or rule out conditions like POTS in patients suffering from symptoms related to
dysautonomia. This lecture was given at the October 25th CSF Chapter meeting at
Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. (2017)
