Dr. Philip Allen gives a fantastic overview of his ongoing work, specifically on how cognition is affected in adult patients with Chiari malformation. Cognitive dysfunction can vary from simple memory issues to something many patients call "brain fog", where they can't seem to find the right word and struggle to speak or write.
