Andrea lives in Forest Hills, New York with her husband, Ken and their daughter, Lauren, who is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Fordham University in New York City.

Andrea received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Hofstra University and started her career in a regional yellow pages publishing company where she was Marketing Coordinator. She then moved on to be Marketing Manager, and later Assistant Vice President of Marketing, at North Fork Bank, headquartered in Long Island, New York. In 2003, Andrea joined the American Syringomyelia Alliance Project as Development and Support Administrator, playing an integral role in the planning and execution of the organization’s fundraising and marketing initiatives, as well as design projects. Her office was located within the Chiari Institute on Long Island, New York, and served as a patient liaison, interacting with and supporting patients at the Institute. She joined the Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation in 2003 and has been with the Bobby Jones Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation since its incorporation in 2007.

Although she is not personally affected by SM, CM, or any of their related disorders, Andrea is committed to Bobby Jones CSF’s mission, to making a difference in the lives of those touched by these disorders and to the dream of someday finding a cure.
