The fifth CSF Hydrodynamics Symposium took place on July 1-2, 2019 at the Simula Research Laboratory in Oslo, Norway. This biennial conference brings together scientists, engineers, clinicians and mathematicians from around the world to discuss the underlying mechanisms that cause disorders of CSF flow, such as syringomyelia and Chiari malformation.
Participants discuss their own research and bounce ideas off one another to better comprehend these poorly understood pathophysiology of CSF disorders. Thanks to Dr. Kent Andre-Mardal and Simula for graciously hosting this year’s symposium.
